The Egyptian Goddess Isis is considered a personification of the “complete female” even to today. In ancient Egypt she was called “The One Who Is All” or “The Lady of Ten Thousand Names”. In all belief systems and sources Isis is always considered the Moon Goddess, which also implies the feminine nature of her energy. She is also called “Mother of Life”, “Giver of Life” or “Goddess of Magic”.
Isis works with people, especially women, to empower and teach many skills such as reading, agriculture and/or medicine. She constantly shares her wisdom with humans on the Earth. She is often portrayed with outstretched wings which symbolizes the protection she offers against sickness, death, black magic, curses and spells. The image of her wings was built into the thrones of the Pharaohs, aiding in keeping them righteous & protected.
