Ankh with Lotus

The Ankh represents the “Key to Life”. The Goddess Isis is often portrayed with the Ankh in her hand to maintain power and energy in all her endeavors. Historically speaking the Ankh was transformed from the Atlantis Cross by connecting both “legs” and thereby becoming a strong emitter of energy. Through the upper part of the Ankh (head) the vibration of Green is brought in, which is a healing and regenerative vibration, and through the bottom of the cross harmful energies or vibrations are released (the bottom emits Negative Green). To many, the Ankh is the precursor to all crosses known today.

The Lotus Flower grows in muddy waters but its long stem rises above the surface to bloom with amazing beauty in  pure, gentle colours. The Lotus closes up at night and sinks beneath the water only to rise again at dawn and open once more. For people in the East it symbolizes purity, long life and health. Believers make offerings of it in the temples – especially to Quan Yin, the most powerful Goddess of the East, who sits on the open Lotus Flower and helps her followers to solve their problems, be courageous and overcome obstacles in their path.
